Alan has been a realtor at Vanguard Properties since 2010. During this time, he’s worked with an array of clients through ever-changing market conditions. Originally from Sitka, Alaska, Alan grew up primarily in Bellingham, WA, studied literature at UC Santa Cruz and later got his MFA in creative writing from Saint Mary’s College. Since 2006, San Francisco has been home to him. As both a homeowner and a landlord, he understands firsthand the emotions involved and is empathetic to his clients needs. Service is paramount: Alan listens to their essential needs and offers insight, understanding and guidance on how best to achieve their real-estate goals. He prides himself on his referral business.
