Appointed a “jack-of-all-trades” by family and friends, Alex Susma says he’s the type of person who loves to learn and takes the time to expand his knowledge. Commonality amongst repeat clients is his willingness to go above and beyond and to constantly impress! Alex's skill set and resources allows him to efficiently work any situation to his clients advantage. His extensive knowledge and experience in renovations and design is a strong suit and beneficial to both buyers and sellers in understanding value add potential and maximizing returns on sales. Alex comes from a family of civil engineers and real estate agents, which sparked a passion for everything real estate. He was led to start a real estate career of his own after gaining hands-on experience remodeling, and says he has the creative mindset to envision the true potential of a home. “Picture walking through the doors of your new home,” he says. “I want to know what that is like.” Growing up in the northwest suburbs has made Alex appreciate and understand what each different town has to offer and what makes them preferred so much by the families living there. He adds that moving and living in the city for the past decade has provided him with all the excitement that makes Chicagoans love their city, from nightlife to food to different cultures and neighborhoods. Professional accomplishments in the past year include property remodels, both residential and commercial—both gut renovations. Alex personally planned, managed, and worked on both projects, including drafting 3D renderings and schematics, pulling permits, and identifying crews to ensure the final products exceeded expectations. Additionally, Alex has been named a Top Producer in 2019 and 2021 and is on track to do the same in 2022. He says his organization skills are instrumental to his success, but he’s also able to negotiate any situation to his client’s favor.
