Fun facts: Loves real estate. Collects old Chicago maps. Advocate for 'Girls in the Game' - a Chicago based nonprofit that creates opportunities for girls to develop their voice, confidence, and leadership skill sets.

Amie grew up a in Chicagoland before heading to the east coast to earn a degree in politics from Princeton University, where she also played Division I softball and club rugby. Upon returning home, Amie earned her master’s degree in integrated marketing from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Prior to becoming a licensed broker, Amie worked at the Chicago Tribune where she managed sports marketing for the iconic newspaper. Amie crafted and managed key marketing partnerships with the Chicago Bulls, Hawks, Sox & Cubs. One amazing day, Amie had the thrill of a lifetime throwing out the first pitch at Chicago Cubs game! Amie’s next position was as Sr. Marketing Manager for the Tribune’s multi-million real estate advertising division. This experience cultivated her knowledge of the Chicago housing market and proved a natural fit for her 2005 entry into the transactional side of real estate. Navigating a real estate transaction is serious business. Amie strives to exceed client goals by providing data-driven insights, creative solutions, a resourceful point-of-view, and exemplary service. Her business is fueled by her network of exceptionally satisfied clients and their referrals. Because of her clients, each year Amie receives the Chicago Association of Realtors ‘Top Producer’ sales award; a distinct honor earned by the top 10% of local real estate brokers. Additionally, Amie has been recognized in Chicago Magazine, Crain’s Chicago Business & Chicago Agent Magazine as ‘top’ and ‘notable’ broker as well as a ‘Who’s Who in Chicago Real Estate.’ Amie draws inspiration from the city’s rich history and diverse/vibrant neighborhoods. Her intimate knowledge of Chicago and the North Side comes from living, working, and spending time studying a variety of neighborhoods including Downtown, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Ravenswood, Lincoln Square and especially Andersonville/Edgewater —where she currently resides and where she and her SwakeGroup team have achieved $155+ million in career sales. Outside of work, Amie owns and produces large LGBTQ+ community events. She received the distinguished Community Service Award from Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in 2017. As an advocate for girls in under-served Chicagoland communities Amie served over 15 years on the Board of Directors at Girls in the Game—a nonprofit that creates opportunities for girls to develop their voice, confidence, and leadership skill sets. In 2020, Amie was selected and is honored to currently serve on Dream Town’s Diversity Council.
