To say "Chris is the best" would be an understatement. He makes a massive and often daunting experience into something manageable and understandable. His calm, unflinching, and capable approach always puts the client first. He's not loud or flashy -- rather he takes a logical approach and can loo...

Chris is the best. His sincerity, warmth and humor are one thing. But he worked hard to get us everything we wanted and his intuition and advice were spot on. He managed all the moving parts of an out of state purchase along with the sale of our home. I just can't say enough good things about him.

Chris did an amazing job assisting us in finding the perfect apartment to meet our needs. He worked hard to understand what we were seeking, and we never felt any pressure to settle or look at properties not consistent with our stated desires. His extensive knowledge of the local market and eve...

Chris helped me sell my home in Highland Park quickly, and we got more from it than I had hoped. He was extremely responsive, and held my hand every step of the way. I highly recommend working with Chris!

Chris is truly incredible and we feel so lucky to have gotten to work with him to buy our home! My husband and I were first time homebuyers and expecting our first child. About
Fun facts: I'm English but have lived in the US since 1995. I came for grad school and got a PhD from Brown. I used to be a professor, but much prefer being a realtor!
I was born and raised in England, but came to the United States for graduate school. After getting a PhD in English literature from Brown, I came to Chicago and taught at DePaul University. I’d always been intrigued by real estate, though, and after my wife and I bought a condominium I got my license in 2004. The skills I developed as a researcher and teacher serve me well as a realtor..To write a PhD thesis, I had to process a lot of very complex information and then present my analysis of it clearly and compellingly. That’s much like the work I do now for buyers and sellers, sorting through a lot of complex market data to figure out what a property is worth and then using clear and compelling language to present a property (if I’m working for a seller) or an offer (if I’m working for a buyer) as attractively as possible. What I like best about being a realtor is the chance to work closely with one or two people at a very significant moment of their lives--the moment when they're buying or selling a home.
