Born and raised in Ottawa, Illinois, Realtor Emily Rubio has a passion for helping others. She attended Ottawa Township High School and Illinois Valley Community College before working at a CPA Firm in the accounting, auditing and tax preparation space. Emily wanted to give back in a more impactful way to the community that raised her, becoming a 911 dispatcher for the Ottawa Police and Fire Department for 4.5 years. After diving deep into that role, she moved on to Fermilab in their Security and Emergency Management division. With all this experience in helping people through some of the most stressful, serious situations of their lives, Emily is uniquely suited to calmly stabilize a difficult real estate transaction for her clients. Emily chose to affiliate her real estate business with EXIT Realty and she has a unique toolkit of resources she uses skillfully to help buyers, sellers, investors and renters find more opportunities.
