Gerardo's deep knowledge and love for Chicago and its neighborhoods has led him to become one of the most successful, results-oriented real estate agents in the city. He is particularly adept at working with home buyers and sellers who benefit from a calm, experienced adviser who thrives on guiding clients through the process of achieving their real estate goals. Gerardo was born and raised in Chicago and began his career in the field of legal support with one of the most prominent bankruptcy firms in the Midwest, where he acquired extensive experience and a deep appreciation for the importance of financial literacy and investment savvy. In 2014, Gerardo transitioned those skills to a successful real estate career, and since that time he has personally achieved over $50M in sales. He attributes his success to the high level of service he offers to all of his clients, many of whom are city employees or other Chicago residents with specific location needs. He brings an intimate knowledge of the city's neighborhoods, schools, building trends and local resources, with the goal of helping clients locate the right home for them. In December of 2016, Gerardo partnered with two like-minded colleagues to form Chicago Home Living, a real estate specialist group within @properties. Chicago Home Living was formed with a common goal of providing a higher standard of service and incorporating a personable and boutique approach to all types of real estate transactions. To date, Chicago Home Living has collectively achieved over $100M in sales and has been recognized with an achievement award as a top-producing team by Chicago Magazine & the Chicago Association of Realtors. As part of his commitment to providing unequaled service to his clients, Gerardo has earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), and PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) certifications from the National Association of Realtors. He is an active member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, council member of the Boys & Girls Club of Chicago (Little Village neighborhood) and is committed to following best practices in each real estate experience. Gerardo is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and has lived in the South Loop area for over ten years. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and DJing at some of Chicago's most popular bars and clubs. He is fluent in English and in Spanish.
