My personal path has had its own twists and turns that have led seamlessly into the successful business I operate today. After earning my bachelor's degree from DePauw University, I received my Master of Fine Arts from the City College of New York. I immediately entered the working world, and soon became a Managing Partner at an award-winning bar and restaurant. It was there that I truly learned the benefits of positivity and patience, along with the ability to think quickly on my feet in any situation. I eventually put my hard-earned education to good use when I became a middle school teacher at St. Sylvester in Chicago. Working with children — not to mention managing the expectations of their devoted parents — helped me hone both my time management and project management skills. I love to educate, and to this day feel it is an important part of the service I provide. As the years passed and I began a family of my own, I came to realize that I would never find true satisfaction in my professional career unless it blended my more meticulous and organized side with my inherent need to create and think on my feet. As luck would have it, I found the perfect outlet for both when I joined @properties.
