About
Fun facts: I sing show tunes. I fly airplanes. I helped build the first seven temples at Burning Man.
With a career spanning over three decades in San Francisco and Napa real estate, Robin is committed to her clients. Robin's journey into the world of real estate began as a passion project, born from a love for restoring and preserving the architectural gems that dot this vibrant city. She bought her first Victorian in the Mission District at age 27. She wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. From the gold leaf gilding on City Hall’s dome, to the installation of Bradbury & Bradbury wallpaper, to gutting a three-story Victorian down the studs or working with David Best on five Temples at Burning Man, Robin knows her stuff. She has bought, restored and sold (and sometimes kept!) almost two dozen vintage buildings. Robin's expertise in San Francisco's real estate market is honed through years of negotiations, buying, selling and restoring buildings, returning them to their former glory. As a seasoned kitchen designer for clients, she oversaw the intricate details that make the heart of a house a home. Her keen eye for design informs every property transaction. Navigating the city’s byzantine permit process, and knowing what can and cannot be done, is a specialty. Robin has the resources. Prior to embarking on her real estate career, Robin made her mark in the advertising world, lending her graphic design talents to companies such as Levi Strauss, Apple, United Airlines, and FedEx. While designing books for Chronicle Books, she worked closely with Gladys Hansen, the City’s Historian, who instilled in Robin a love of San Francisco's colorful history. The allure of breathing new life into these storied historic homes ultimately captured her heart and led her to transition from graphic design into restoring homes full time and providing housing for wonderful people. Yes, she is a proud San Francisco landlady, as her heart couldn’t let her part with some of her work. Robin has cultivated a deep appreciation for the intricacies of investment property ownership and tenant rights, and through this experience, she has gained invaluable insights into the nuances of respectful property management. She is well-equipped to guide her clients through every step of the investment and development process. Whether you're in search of your dream property, looking to sell a cherished home, or seeking expert advice on a fixer or investment, rest assured that Robin will serve as your trusted partner. With a blend of expertise, humor, and integrity, Robin wants her clients to embark on this journey with joy, to turn their hopes into reality.
