Sarah McLennon is a Chicago Realtor with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, helping buyers, sellers and investors make informed property decisions across Chicago and surrounding communities. Raised in Lincoln Park and still rooted on Chicago’s Northwest Side, Sarah comes from generations of work building the city—through infrastructure, small businesses, public service, local politics and elections. Her mother’s store, Presence, was a neighborhood institution for more than 40 years. Her father managed campaigns before working alongside Cook County Clerk David Orr for decades, and the first campaign Sarah worked on was Harold Washington’s. No single person owns this city; each of us helps preserve its land, strengthen its communities and shape its future. For Sarah, real estate became a natural way to continue that work and approach property with a sense of stewardship. Her unconventional path includes a BA in Film and Video, art, Second City, a degree in Culinary Arts, work in Chicago kitchens, small business, politics, elections and real estate valuation. Together, those experiences taught her to observe closely, listen and adapt, prepare carefully, value lasting relationships, understand how our neighborhoods function and how our city runs, and distinguish appearance from evidence. Today, Sarah brings lived knowledge, careful analysis and creative problem-solving to every transaction. She looks beyond finishes and square footage to understand a property’s condition, history, value and potential. Her work is grounded in patience, honest guidance and intelligent strategy. Knowing Chicago means understanding more than where things are. It means understanding how they got there.
