Hi! We’re Sam Bauman-Nelson & Raul Delgado — The Move Smarter Team with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago. Our mission is simple: helping clients move smarter and find the keys to their next chapter. Between the two of us, we’ve helped over 200 families move and have proudly closed over $100 million in real estate sales throughout Chicago’s western suburbs and far west communities. We serve clients throughout Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Sycamore, DeKalb, and beyond. Before real estate, we both came from hospitality backgrounds, so communication, service, and creating a great client experience are at the center of everything we do. We believe buying or selling a home should feel strategic, supportive, and a whole lot less stressful. Sam is a 7th-generation Wheaton resident who now lives in Batavia with her blended family and has deep roots throughout the western suburbs. She brings a passion for marketing, staging, negotiations, and helping clients navigate every detail of the process. Raul lives in North Wheaton, is fluent in Spanish, and is known for his calm, knowledgeable approach along with years of leadership and customer service experience. We work with first-time buyers, relocation clients, downsizers, move-up buyers, estate and divorce sales, and clients looking for private market opportunities throughout the western suburbs. Our approach is honest, hands-on, and relationship focused. No pressure. No sales gimmicks. Just real guidance from a team that genuinely loves helping people through major life transitions.
